Mum posts three lingerie pics to show how body’s changed over last five years
A lot of people’s weight yo-yo’s up and down – with many always trying to ‘fit back into their old jeans’.
However, body positive influencer Melissa Suffield is urging people to accept that your body changes over time.
The social media star – who boasts 58,000 Instagram fans – took to the site this week to share the message.

The blonde beauty shared three snaps of herself that were taken at different periods over the last five years to show how her body had changed.
In the first photo, which was taken in 2018, the 30-year-old flaunted her trim figure in a black sports bra and leggings.

This was compared to the second photo in 2020, where Melissa showed off her tummy bump.
Fast-forward to now – the third photo from this year saw the happy star showing off her natural tummy curves as she wore a red lingerie set.
Captioning the post, Melissa wrote: “People change. We grow. We adapt. We survive. We learn.
“Years pass, circumstances change. There were hundreds of versions of you before this point in time and there will be hundreds of you after it. It’s highly unlikely they’re all going to look the same.”
“So only holding space for one version of you, actively hating the others, showing them no respect or gratitude or kindness? You’re going to spend a lot of time miserable.”

She added: “It’s ok to prefer one to another. It’s ok to wish you had it back, and even work to find some version of it again. But remember that every you is just as worthy as the one before it.
“You are made up of magic.”
Fans were loving the post, with it racking up thousands of likes and tons of comments.
“You do such good work, please carry on,” exclaimed one fan.
While another added: “First time I’ve seen someone who I feel has the same body as me and it’s so nice to see your confidence.”

A third also told her: “Thank you so much for your posts. They really are starting to help me see that my body is absolutely fine the way it is.”
As well as her online career, Melissa formerly starred as Lucy Beale in BBC soap EastEnders between 2004-2010.
She’s now more known for her influencer career though, with Melissa recently hitting headlines as she got involved in a petition to ban photo filters.
