The US-based content creator, who goes by the username Barfly, has taken TikTok by storm with shocking clips of his makeshift meal prep.
His most popular demonstrations show him cooking ribs with a hairdryer and sous vide-ing a steak in the toilet.

Barfly, who has never disclosed his real name or revealed why he spends so much time in hotels, has gained more than 65,000 followers on the video sharing platform.
He has found TikTok fame by sharing a whole host of culinary shortcuts which include some very interesting techniques.
One of his most popular clips, which has been viewed more than four million times, sees him sous vide-ing a steak in the toilet.
It begins as he boils some new potatoes on a portable stove which he has placed on the counter next to the hotel sink.
But things take a turn when he takes the lid off the toilet cistern and places his prime steak inside before using a heating device to warm the water.
He whips up some garlic, shrimp and butter before mashing together with the potatoes by hand.
Barfly then retrieves the steak from the back of the toilet before emptying the packet onto a fresh white hotel towel that gets covered in fluid from the meat.
He seasons, flash sears and tucks right into the unorthodox concoction.
