Prince Harry is experiencing hair loss as a result of the stress caused by his strained relationship with the Royal Family.

According to an expert, tension with his royal relatives may have been the cause of Prince Harry experiencing a receding hairline.

The Duke of Sussex’s long-awaited Netflix documentary, Heart of Invictus, was launched on the streaming platform today (Wednesday, August 30) and details the lead-up to the 2022 Invictus Games, which saw injured war veteran athletes from around the world compete in a series of sporting events.

But Harry’s balding head proved distracting to some viewers, with many taking to social media to point out the Prince’s depleting follicles.

One scathing critic described Harry as a “money grabbing, scruffy, balding, wannabe royal,” while another chimed in: “Spray on hair again Harry? You’re completely bald on top! Does it Looks like can spray this time maybe?”

And hair restoration expert and former patient Spencer Stevenson of Spex Hair reckons the Prince’s thinning locks may have been partially caused by his poor relationship with his family.

“Harry is suffering from male pattern baldness, which is the most common form of hair loss in men,” he said.

“Harry’s hair loss is categorically male pattern baldness so already thinning out due to his genes.

“However, due to the high amount of stress he must’ve been through in recent years dealing with all the exposure surrounding him and his life, it will have definitely negatively impacted his hair.

“Definitely, the relationship with his estranged family is not helping on top of male pattern baldness.”

Stevenson also pointed out Harry had clearly taken steps to try to cover up the loss of his famous barnet.

“He’s clearly assisting the appearance of his hair by using Nanogen fibres, which are an A-list celebrity go-to weapon to disguise their hair loss,” he added.

Heart of Invictus saw Harry address his complex relationship with his family head-on as he opened up about his struggle following the death of his mum, Princess Diana.

The Prince made what appeared to be a subtle dig at his family members, who have been estranged to him since he stepped down as a working royal alongside wife Meghan Markle in January 2020.

“The biggest struggle for me was that no one around me could really help,” he said.

“I didn’t have that support structure that network or that expert advice to identify what was actually going on with me.”

Speaking about his mother’s death, Harry added he had “no emotions” for many years and had difficulty processing what had happened.

“I was unable to cry, I was unable to feel,” he told Invictus competitor Darrell Ling.

“And it wasn’t until later in my life, age 28, there was a circumstance that happened that the first few bubbles [of emotion] started coming out.

“Then suddenly it was like someone shook it and it just went pfft. Then it was chaos. My emotions were sprayed all over the wall everywhere I went and I was like, ‘How the hell do I contain this?’”
