Fans of Big Brother have been provided with their initial glimpse of the fresh house before the upcoming return of the reality show on Sunday.

Richard Arnold from Good Morning Britain shared a sneak peek of the garden on Friday. He also discussed how the show’s dedication to sustainability has influenced the interior design of this year’s house.

He stated that there is a bathtub placed on a raised platform. Originally, they planned to use a transparent bathtub, but it would need to be imported from China, which goes against the theme of sustainability in the house this year.

During Friday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, viewers were given a tour of the garden, which featured an outdoor fireplace reminiscent of Love Island.

Richard acknowledged that he was not permitted to give viewers a tour of the house. However, he subtly suggested the presence of multiple double beds for intimate encounters and described the living area as “vast.”

He also mentioned that the Diary Room, which is where housemates can express their difficulties and concerns to Big Brother, includes the largest chair he has ever encountered.

In the past, the smoking area has been a constant subject of conversation and rumors within the house. However, this year, it will be positioned out of sight from the cameras, only equipped with a microphone to capture any intense discussions.

The current house includes an outdoor fireplace, which playfully references the reality TV show Love Island.

The show received 30,000 applications from people who wanted to participate, but the exact number of housemates who will move in on the first night remains undisclosed by the producers.

Earlier this week, the producers of Big Brother also disclosed their newly implemented protocols regarding the responsibility of ensuring the well-being and safety of participants.

This year, the Housemates are required to refrain from using social media, participate in training on respect and inclusion, and will receive individual mental health support sessions before, during, and after the show.

The respect and inclusion training will set out expectations around use of language and acceptable behaviour in the House while .

Big Brother: The Launch will see a new cast of carefully selected housemates, from all walks of life, become the first people to take up residence in the brand-new house as they arrive at the famous destination in front of a live studio audience 

Prior to filming, all Housemates have been subjected to psychological and medical evaluations, which include assessments conducted by an impartial physician, mental health experts, and information obtained from the GP of each Housemate.

The participants of Big Brother had to confidentially share any medical history or relevant information that could impact their involvement in the show.

Furthermore, their family and friends will be requested to refrain from sharing any content on their personal social media accounts while they are residing in the House, resulting in a social media blackout.

ITV has also informed the Housemates about the potential benefits and drawbacks of participating in Big Brother.

The participants are also subjected to a sequence of background checks, which includes an examination of their social media accounts conducted by a specialized service that operates independently.

The show’s welfare team and other members of the editorial and production team underwent training in Mental Health First Aid and ‘respect and inclusion’ to guide their behavior throughout the series.

ITV has outlined the expected behavior and language for the Big Brother team.

Housemates are also provided with and talked through the Housemate rules which set out expectations and explain key aspects of life in the Big Brother House.

Furthermore, mental health professionals are accessible to Housemates in the House to provide continuous support throughout their stay.

The welfare team of Big Brother also provides regular contact and updates to support friends and family.

Once the contestants exit the Big Brother House, they will receive specialized instruction on how to handle social media and press interactions.

A mandatory session with mental health professional immediately after a Housemate leaves the House will also be provided.    

After, further support sessions will be provided specific to a Housemate’s individual needs and support will remain in place until the mental health professional(s) have agreed an end date for each individual Housemate.

The head of welfare will maintain regular communication for a duration of 14 months following the conclusion of the series, offering additional assistance as required.

AJ and Will will co-host the series.

According to reports, Marcus Bentley, the iconic narrator of Big Brother, has agreed to return for the upcoming revival of the show.

Marcus, a voice-over artist from Gateshead, gained fame for his association with the show when it premiered on Channel 4 in 2000. He remained a part of the reality series until its final season on Channel 5 in 2018.

Housemates were also required to disclose in confidence any medical history or other information that would be relevant to their participation in Big Brother.

Furthermore, their relatives and acquaintances will be requested to refrain from sharing any material on their personal social media profiles throughout their stay in the House, observing a social media blackout.

ITV has also informed the Housemates about the potential positive and negative consequences of participating in Big Brother.

The participants are also subjected to a sequence of background screenings, which includes an examination of their social media accounts conducted by a specialized third-party service.

The welfare team of the show, along with other members of the editorial and production team, underwent training in Mental Health First Aid and ‘respect and inclusion’.
