Last Monday, police discovered the lifeless body of Jenean Chapman (pictured), who had only been married to Patrick, 48, for a brief two months, in her Dallas, Texas apartment.

The police initially classified Ms. Chapman’s death as unexplained, but a post-mortem examination conducted the next day revealed that she was a victim of homicide.

Her loved ones allege that Patrick, who had known Ms Chapman for six years, was physically abusive towards his wife and described their relationship as ‘toxic’.

In an Instagram post, Crystal Marshall, the sister of Ms. Chapman, expressed that the period following the news of her sister’s death has been “the most dreadful days I have ever experienced.”

She stated, “My sister recently experienced physical abuse, and her life was tragically ended.”

She had numerous things to anticipate and greatly influenced a multitude of individuals throughout her life. Her achievements are too abundant to quantify.

Although she is no longer physically here, her essence will forever illuminate our hearts and cherished memories of her.

I have an immense love for you, my dear sister, and I deeply miss you. It saddens me that you were taken away from us too soon. My wish is for you to find eternal peace and rest in the Father of Spirits.

Nicole Marshall, the second sibling, stated to BNC Dallas Fort Worth that all they can say is that the relationship was unhealthy.

We were surprised because prior to that, our relationship had been inconsistent. It had its ups and downs, and we were well aware of the challenges.

“I informed our mother about the marriage, and naturally, she shared the news with us. We were completely surprised by it. However, there was no wedding, so we were not included, which was disappointing.”

After completing her studies in TV, film, and production at Syracuse University in New York, Ms Chapman embarked on her professional journey by joining the Duchess of York as her initial employment opportunity.

In a statement released on her Instagram page, the Duchess wrote: ‘I am shocked and saddened to learn that Jenean Chapman, who worked with me as my personal assistant many years ago, has been murdered in Dallas aged just 46. A suspect is in custody.

‘Jenean was loyal, hardworking, beautiful and fun and my heart breaks for her family and friends. I heard from her just a couple of months ago and she seemed so happy. Her family is raising money to transport her body back to New York City and pay for legal and funeral costs.

I will contribute and assist the family to the best of my ability – kindly lend a hand if you are able by visiting the link provided in my bio.
