Tottenham emerged victorious in the Premier League match against Luton with a score of 1-0, despite being reduced to 10 players and facing late pressure. Chelsea made a strong comeback to defeat Burnley 4-1. Everton dominated Bournemouth with a resounding 3-0 victory, while Fulham emerged as winners over Sheffield United with a score of 3-1.

For the Championship leg of the bet, Middlesbrough hammered Sunderland 4-0 at the Stadium of Light despite their early season struggles after the hosts’ Dan Neil was controversially dismissed on the stroke of half-time.

Blackburn easily won against struggling QPR with a score of 4-0, while Leicester continued their impressive performance by defeating Stoke 2-0. Ipswich also emerged victorious in a close match against Preston with a score of 4-3.

Joel Piroe’s second half goal secured a 2-1 victory for Leeds against Bristol City, whereas Crystal Palace’s match against Nottingham Forest ended in a goalless draw.

The most exciting moments occurred in the last three parts of the bettor’s combination bet, as Watford managed to equalize against Cardiff in the second half, resulting in a 1-1 draw.

Elsewhere Millwall fought back to secure a point against Hull but the most nerves would have emerged from the Coventry Building Society Arena where Ben Gibson’s 88th minute own goal ensured the spoils were shared between Coventry and Norwich, meaning the individual won £264,712.

A Betfair spokesperson revealed the news on Saturday evening as they said: ‘It’s been a memorable day for one Betfair punter who has taken us to the absolute cleaners with a game changing 13-fold, winning an incredible £264,000.

‘Hats off to the punter who not only predicted a number of wins, but also four draws in matches across the Premier League and Championship.

Coventry scored a goal in the 88th minute to tie the game against Norwich, which was really disappointing for us. However, in the world of football, these things happen. On behalf of Betfair, we would like to extend our sincere congratulations to Coventry.
