In tomorrow’s program, the family strongly emphasizes that they never received any personal benefit directly from The Captain Tom Moore Foundation, refuting any claims of financial gain.

Mrs. Ingram-Moore mentioned that the books, which were written by her late father before he passed away at the age of 100, generated income for Club Nook Ltd. This company is distinct from the charity established in his honor.
These books belonged to my father, and it brought him immense joy to write them. However, they were exclusively his possessions.
“He had a representative and together they collaborated on that agreement. His desire was for the funds to remain in Club Nook, and ultimately…”
Morgan is informed by Mrs Ingram-Moore that the family has been subjected to death threats after it was revealed that they profited from her deceased father’s efforts.
“She stated that they were engaged in a conversation about their plans to arrive and eliminate all of us.”
She characterized the experience as ‘completely devastating’, with her son admitting that ‘there have been moments when she doubted her ability to continue.’
In a preview of the show, Morgan inquires if she had any concerns about accepting donations from the public, and she acknowledged, “I should have declined.”
The family faced criticism for supposedly constructing a spa pool complex extension to their historic seven-bedroom house, and they were accused of using the Captain Tom Foundation’s name in the process.
During the recent interview, Morgan asks them: “As soon as I enter, the first thing that catches my eye is a lavish spa pool, which seems unrelated to Captain Tom,” he remarks, possibly referring to the structure.
Mr. Ingram-Moore acknowledged, with his wife in agreement, that they should have approached it differently.
Morgan then asks, “Why do you hesitate to dispose of it?”
Morgan mentions, “Upon entering, the first thing I notice is a lavish spa pool, which seems unrelated to Captain Tom.”
Mrs. Ingram-Moore stated that she received a payment of £18,000 for her appearance at an awards ceremony, whereas the charity established in her father’s honor only received a donation of £2,000.
Morgan expressed to The Sun that this interview was exceptionally challenging for him. In essence, he strongly believes that they should not have taken or retained any money associated with Captain Tom and public funds.
Not only was it a blatant conflict of interest, but it was also highly unethical, ultimately betraying his legacy.
