James Cleverly, the Foreign Secretary, has arrived in Israel.

Foreign Secretary James Cleverly has arrived in Israel to demonstrate unwavering support after a devastating attack by Hamas, resulting in the loss or disappearance of at least 17 British individuals.

The Foreign Office announced today that Foreign Secretary James Cleverly has arrived in Israel as a demonstration of the UK’s strong support and unity in response to the Hamas terrorist attacks.

He will be meeting with survivors of the attacks and high-ranking Israeli officials in order to express the UK’s support for Israel’s right to defend itself.

As the conflict escalates, there are concerns that seventeen individuals from the United Kingdom may have lost their lives or gone missing due to the recent Hamas attack.

Mr Cleverly On Tuesday, it was announced that a considerable amount of individuals who hold both British and Israeli citizenship have been affected by the ongoing conflict. This conflict has resulted in the loss of a minimum of 2,100 lives from both sides.

Yesterday, James Cleverly was interviewed on Sky News while standing next to an Israeli flag.

The Israeli government is currently retaliating in response to the recent attack by Hamas. They are conducting air strikes on various locations throughout the Gaza Strip.

The administrations of Benjamin Netanyahu have received strong support from the governments of the UK and US following the invasion carried out by Palestinian militants.

Mr Cleverly’s visit to Israel comes amid fears that the conflict, which has already claimed at least 2,100 lives on both sides, could escalate further.

According to an official source reported by the BBC, there are 17 individuals from the United Kingdom who are either deceased or unaccounted for, including children.

The previous estimation had stated that the number exceeded 10.

The UK Government has not provided any official numbers for the individuals presumed deceased or unaccounted for, citing the rapidly evolving circumstances in the area.

Nathanel Young, aged 20, was one of the individuals who lost their lives during Hamas’s assault while serving in the Israeli army.

Bernard Cowan, who grew up around Glasgow, also died.

Jack Marlowe, aged 26, who attended the identical London school as Mr. Young, is presumed to be absent, while there are concerns that photographer Dan Darlington has passed away.

This morning, the Foreign Secretary was observed in London prior to departing for the Middle East.

Shelley, Mr. Darlington’s sister, posted on social media claiming that he was ‘murdered’ at Nir Oz, a kibbutz located in southern Israel.

There is no official confirmation of his death.

Mr Marlowe was providing security at the Supernova music festival in the desert near Kibbutz Re’im when the area was invaded by Hamas gunmen.

A Foreign Office spokesman said: ‘The Foreign Secretary has arrived in Israel today to demonstrate the UK’s unwavering solidarity with the Israeli people following Hamas’s terrorist attacks.

“He is scheduled to meet with survivors of the attacks as well as senior Israeli officials in order to express the UK’s backing for Israel’s entitlement to self-defense.”
