Jet-setting gangland enforcer is ordered to pay back £3,000 blackmail

  • Sebastian Jones, 35 nicknamed ‘Chop, Chop’ arrived at a victim’s home
  • Rebecca Livesley scraped together £1,000 and borrowed £2,000 to pay
  • A notorious enforcer known as ‘Chop, Chop’ who frequently travels has been instructed to reimburse £3,000. He had forcefully obtained money from an unsuspecting mother while pursuing her former partner for a drug-related debt.

Powerfully built Sebastian Jones, 35, turned up at the victim’s home with another hoodlum to demand Rebecca Livesley hand over £15,000 with the pair warning her former partner’s mother would ‘get her f..king head blown off’ if she failed to pay up.

Miss Livesley, filled with fear, gathered £1,000 from her personal funds and received a loan of £2,000 from her father. She then personally delivered the total amount to Jones’ marital residence, which prominently displays a statue of the Roman emperor Nero in its front window.

    Afterwards, she notified the authorities.

In October 2022, an event took place one year after Jones, a father of one and owner of a driveway company in Oldham, Greater Manchester, caused worldwide public anger. He and three companions disregarded Spanish police checkpoints to capture boastful selfies near a volcano eruption on La Palma island.

Accomplice, Christopher Swift (Pictured), 30, was ordered to pay back a nominal £1 after a court heard he had no assets

Christopher Swift, who was involved in the crime, has been instructed by the court to repay a symbolic amount of £1 as he does not possess any assets.

The group was labeled as ‘lava louts’ initially, but Jones later asserted that their intention was to rescue dogs stranded on the island.

Jones was seen in many photos on social media, enjoying a series of unique vacations in Portugal and Spain with his attractive spouse. He was also seen taking care of various uncommon animals, birds, and reptiles, such as a serval, brown eagle, and baby alligator.

Jones was sentenced to 24 months in prison in March for confessing to blackmail. Christopher Swift, his partner in crime, also pleaded guilty to the same charge and received a 27-month sentence.

Jones was summoned to court again this week for a Proceeds of Crime hearing. The court instructed him to give up £3,000 and reimburse the woman within three months. Failure to comply would result in an additional seven-day imprisonment. Swift, a father from Salford, was also instructed to repay a symbolic £1 as he was found to have no assets.

During a previous hearing, it was mentioned that Jones had been functioning as a “middleman” for a group of individuals and had been assigned the responsibility of gathering £15,000. This amount was owed by the victim’s former partner due to a drug-related debt.

At approximately 5pm, he and Swift approached the door of the victim’s residence in Mossley. However, it was the woman’s 12-year-old son who responded to their knock.

When Miss Livesley realised why the pair were there, she sent her three children and her father upstairs but Swift then threatened her, telling her he had ‘put the windows through’ the wrong house before.

He stated that he did not wish to treat her in the same manner because she has children. He further explained, “I am from Salford, not from this area.” Then, in regards to her former boyfriend, he menacingly mentioned, “I will visit his mother’s residence and cause severe harm.”

Last March, Jones was jailed for 24 months after he admitted blackmail.

Jones confessed to blackmail and was subsequently sentenced to a 24-month imprisonment in March.

Jones was ordered to surrender £3,000 and pay back the woman within three months or face another seven days in jail

Jones was instructed to hand over £3,000 and reimburse the woman within a period of three months, otherwise he would be subjected to an additional seven days of imprisonment.

The individual expressed concern for both herself and her family after receiving the threats.

Jones admitted that he had overstepped boundaries by visiting the victim’s family residence, but he claimed his participation was brief and there was no actual physical harm involved. He maintained that he did not engage in any aggressive behavior during the incident.

Last June Jones celebrated his release from jail on Facebook saying: ‘IM BACK!!! 2 stone lighter, no doe (sic) & I’ve forgot all my best sh*gging moves but I’m back!!!’

Andrew MacIntosh, the prosecutor, informed the court that the accused has gained £3,000 and suggested that the court should order him to provide compensation to the victim. He also mentioned that there are funds accessible through the accused’s marital property.
