Desperate sailors have discovered an uncommon rock ’n’ roll resolution to scare killer whales away from their boats.
Seafarers are blasting Ozzy Osbourne-style heavy metallic music from underwater audio system to cease orcas attacking their ships.
Some described it as a “game changer”.

In latest years, there was an elevated variety of killer whale assaults on vessels, with some capsizing.

Experts have but to check the deterrent. Dr Peter Evans, of Bangor University, stated: “Acoustic deterrents can work for other whales, ironically by playing killer whale sounds. But there are none designed for orcas.”
