David Hyslop, 54, was stopped by officers on the A701 at Dumfries, Scotland, in December 2022.  

He was charged with highway site visitors offences and was convicted of harmful driving final week following a trial at Dumfries Sheriff Court.

Hyslop was given a 12-month driving ban and a £500 fantastic.

Police Scotland launched photographs of his frosty blue van following his conviction. 

They present the home windows coated in frost, whereas the windscreen has a slender clear hole on the backside.

Police Scotland Dumfries and Galloway revealed the photograph of his windscreen onto its Facebook web page with one consumer describing it as ‘full insanity’
