‘Royal racist’ unveiled ultimately in model of Omid Scobie’s bombshell e book

Copies of a controversial e book on the monarchy have been pulled within the Netherlands after it appeared to call the alleged “royal racist”.

Mr Scobie stated in interviews this week that UK libel legal guidelines prevented him from revealing the names of the royals detailed in non-public letters from Meghan to King Charles. Referring to the letters written between Meghan and the King discussing the problem, the Dutch model of the e book reads: “But in these non-public letters and identification was revealed and confirmed.”

Xander, the publishers of the Dutch version of Endgame, have put sales of the book on hold “temporarily” over the “error”.

They said in a statement: “[We are] temporarily withdrawing the book by Omid Scobie from sale. An error occurred in the Dutch translation and is currently being rectified.”

A spokesperson for the writer instructed the Daily Mail that they couldn’t talk about the main points, however added: “We have, however, received a request to put the title on hold and that is what we have done.”

Scobie himself has denied accountability for the error, telling Dutch chat present RTL Boulevard: “The book is in several languages, and unfortunately I do not speak Dutch. But if there are translation errors, I’m sure the publishers will have it under control. I wrote and edited the English version. There’s never been no version that I’ve produced that has names in it.”

In the English model of Scobie’s e book, no identify or names of members of the royal household who might have made the feedback are revealed.
