Police cost man with tried homicide after pregnant lady stabbed

Police have charged a person with tried homicide after a closely pregnant mother-of-two was stabbed in Aberfan.

Daniel Mihai Popescu, aged 28, from Merthyr has been charged with tried homicide. 

Mother-of-two Andreea Pintilli, 29, and her unborn child each miraculously survived being stabbed by an attacker outdoors the household dwelling in Aberfan, south Wales, as she returned from taking her kids to high school on Monday.
