Sergio Aguero ‘lied’ about his English to keep away from interviews – and even knew slang

Sergio Aguero had no purpose to duck interviews throughout his time at Manchester City.

That’s in response to former Etihad team-mate Micah Richards, who claims the Argentine ace ‘lied’ about not having the ability to converse English. Aguero was not often interviewed throughout his time in England with the suggestion that he could not converse the language.

Though Richards, who was Aguero’s team-mate for a spell at City, insists that is codswallop. And even says the ex-Barcelona star knew loads of English slang.

Speaking on a current episode of The Rest Is Football, Richards mentioned: “Aguero was lying! When they was asking him to do interviews, he was saying ‘I don’t speak English’.

“He spoke good English, knew precisely what the slang phrases have been. He knew all of the terminologies.

“Of course talking with your mates and having an interview is 2 various things. But he simply performed on that a lot and he bought away with it.

Sergio Aguero is a Manchester City hero

“Muggins like me, James Milner, Joleon Lescott, all the English lads had to do the media because Kun just basically said ‘I don’t speak no English’.”

Though it would not appear Aguero was essentially mendacity as a lot as Richards believes.

The ex-striker wanted Cesc Fabregas’s assist after Manchester City received the Champions League this summer season with Aguero seemingly forgetting easy methods to converse English.
