An eleven-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly in a Devon city that has been blighted by ‘uncontrolled’ kids.

Torbay Custody Sergeant Tim Perrin took to social media to share his shock, writing on X: ‘What is happening? 11 yr outdated on route [sic] to custody drunk and disorderly.’

Residents in Paignton, a seaside city that may be a fashionable vacation vacation spot, have spoken in latest months of being besieged by gaggles of out-of-control kids through the college holidays.

It was reported in The Sun in August that kids as younger as 9 have been carrying knives and directing threats at shopkeepers, with one resident describing their behaviour as ‘uncontrolled’. 

One shopkeeper informed the newspaper that he had been assaulted by a gaggle of youngsters aged ’round 10′ and that he had suffered from ‘a great deal of hassle with youngsters and delinquent behaviour’.

Devon and Cornwall Police have beforehand stated that they have been growing patrols to take care of ‘escalating behaviour issues’ within the city.

It has been reported that drug gangs have been concentrating on kids within the native space for exploitation.
