British boy Alex Batty who has not been seen for six years discovered alive

A British boy who has not been seen since his mom and father allegedly kidnapped him in Spain six years in the past has been discovered alive and effectively in France, prosecutors mentioned as we speak.

Alex Batty, from Oldham, Lancashire, was simply 11 when he didn’t return from a vacation to Spain along with his mom Melanie, then 37, and grandfather David, then 58, in 2017.

Alex’s grandmother and official guardian, Susan Caruana, mentioned in 2018 she believed her daughter and ex-husband had taken him overseas to dwell an ‘different life-style’ overseas.

And now, six years after his disappearance, prosecutors say that Alex has been discovered alive and effectively after fleeing a ‘religious group’.

Investigators consider Alex escaped a rural group residing within the foothills of the Pyrenees.

Alex flew out to Spain on a pre-agreed journey with Melanie, then 37, and David, then 58, for a week-long keep within the Benahavis space, close to Marbella.

But Alex and his mom and grandfather didn’t come again house as anticipated on October 8 2017, sparking a large police enquiry into the boy’s obvious abduction.

Alex’s grandmother and official guardian, Susan Caruana, who was 62 in 2017, speculated that that they had settled into ‘an alternative lifestyle’ someplace.

She mentioned on the time: ‘They didn’t want [Alex] to go to school, they don’t believe in mainstream school.’

Now prosecutors in south west France are sure that Alex, who’s now 17, has turned up alone in Revel, close to Toulouse.

La Depeche, the newspaper that covers the world, reported on Thursday: ‘The Alex Batty mystery is about to be solved.

‘Although he did not show any official document to the gendarmes who took him in, this young 17-year-old boy provided his identity on his own.

‘His face and his story correspond in every way to that of the Briton kidnapped in 2017. ‘This Thursday the Toulouse public prosecutor confirmed that it is indeed Alex Batty.’

Investigators believed Alex escaped a rural group residing within the foothills of the Pyrenees.

After days of mountaineering, he was picked up by a lorry driver who turned suspicious and referred to as police.

Alex was questioned by defectives, and – La Depeche reported – ‘recounted his incredible journey, serenely and calmly.

‘His story has been verified and appears to correspond to reality. Following this hearing, the teenager was entrusted to the department’s social services, while waiting for his relatives to come forward.’

Early enquiries by judicial police working with prosecutors counsel that Alex was residing in a ‘spiritual community’ along with his mom and grandmother, and primarily staying in caravans and tents.
