Prison officer wore ‘trousers leaving little to creativeness throughout lag affair’
A glam jail officer alleged to have had cellphone intercourse with a lag wore “skin-tight trousers” as a substitute of her prison-issue uniform, a court docket has heard.
Ruth Shmylo, of Pontypridd, allegedly had an “inappropriate relationship” with drug vendor Harri Pullen for 5 months whereas working at HMP Parc in Bridgend, South Wales.
On Wednesday, the trial for misconduct in a public workplace at Cardiff Crown Court, heard the pair allegedly bought collectively after Pullen slipped her his quantity on a chunk of paper, which is claimed to have sparked the intimate cellphone name. Ms Shmylo denies misconduct in a public workplace.
The pair had been accused of being in a relationship between December 2020 to April 2021. Ms Shmylo left the job after she didn’t go her probation.

Dan Hayman, the top of safety, informed the court docket Ms Shmylo opted to not put on a prison-issue uniform and got here into work with “skin-tight trousers” which “left very little to the imagination”, stories the Telegraph.
Matthew Cobbe, prosecuting, informed the court docket there had been a staggering 20 “intelligence reports” that had been filed from January and April 2021. These stories featured claims over the officer’s behaviour and her clothes objects.
Mr Hayman informed the court docket counter-corruption officers had questioned Ms Shmylo over the considerations, had requested the officer if it will be extra acceptable to put on bottoms that “were a little larger and not quite so fitting”.

He mentioned: “The concern was Ms Shmylo was wearing trousers that she had purchased outside of the uniform supply process which were exceptionally fitted and not considered appropriate.”
“There is a large cohort of male prisoners and a young female officer or any officer wearing inappropriate clothing is something that we would challenge – especially trousers that are that fitted and leave very little to the imagination.
“There had been different trousers out there however she was not pleased with how they fell on her physique or how they seemed.”
