An Irish Traveller household has received a £20,000 payout after a restaurant refused to serve them as a courtroom dominated they have been unlawfully discriminated in opposition to on the grounds of race.

‘We have been trying ahead to our first dinner as a household, after a really tough time for us following the demise of two of my sons, as an alternative we have been made to go away the restaurant,’ Mr Joyce informed the Irish Independent. 

‘We tried to motive with the supervisor, nevertheless it was very clear to us that Travellers weren’t welcome. 

‘My late mom Nan fought for years to enhance rights for Travellers, however sadly, being handled like second class residents will not be a brand new expertise for us. We simply need it to cease.’
