Asylum seeker discovered useless on Bibby Stockholm after ‘shouting in cabin’ is known as

The asylum seeker who died on Bibby Stockholm after being handled “like an animal” has been named right this moment as Leonard Farruku.

The 27-year-old was found useless after “shouting and banging” was heard from his cabin on the barge, moored in Portland, Dorset. The Home Office has admitted that the vessel has price taxpayers greater than £22million to this point. The £41,000-a-day invoice relates solely to the leasing of the vessel, with the price of the berthing, safety and additional help for the native council approaching high.

A Home Office spokesman mentioned: “This was a tragic incident, and our ideas are with everybody affected. The welfare of all these in our care is of the utmost significance, and we take our accountability for his or her wellbeing extremely critically.
