Venables, who murdered two-year-old James Bulger in 1993 when he was simply 10-years-old, will now spend at the least two extra years behind bars because of a choice made final week (Wednesday, December 13). Parole chiefs decided Venables, now 41, continues to be a hazard to society.

The Sun reported that the evil killer “was ranting and raving and promising to appeal” after the choice. The publication quoted a supply as saying that Venables reckons “he was the victim of a miscarriage of justice.”

“He does have the right to appeal, and knows as well as anyone how to exploit his rights,” the supply added.

“Given his background, most sane people would agree with the [Parole Board] decision.”
