A diner was left raging after discovering what she claimed to be ‘a small animal foot’ in her hen tikka masala.

She added: “I love Bon Pan Asian I come here about once a month. My brother lives in Cardiff now and couldn’t wait to visit because he’s missed it with living away and not having anything similar over there.

“I wouldn’t mind if they’d just refunded four out of the six of us who ate the chicken tikka masala, which was me, my mum, my brother and one of my children, but they didn’t. They said because it was only one meal they could only knock one person off the bill.

“When we got home we Googled lots of different spices both as raw ingredients and when they’ve been cooked. There was nothing that resembled anything like what we were served.”

After contacting environmental well being she stated: “They said they will make a report but they can’t actually investigate it unless we can give them a sample, a photo isn’t good enough evidence.”

The supervisor of Bon Pan Asian, Ray Shao, in Stoke-on-Trent who says he was not in on Wednesday (December 20) has insisted that it was cardamom that the sad buyer discovered on her plate.

He stated: “We deeply understand the customer’s worries and concerns when she found something appearing different and weird. Even though our head chef explained and showed her what it exactly was, her misunderstanding had not been dismissed.

“Obviously it’s not an animal’s foot and folks can see that with their very own eyes. The buyer posted a photograph so different individuals will be capable to see that.
