Blackpool Tower goes up in flames as firefighters are known as

A fireplace has damaged out at Blackpool Tower, with six fireplace engines known as to the enduring landmark.  

Pictures and movies have been shared on social media exhibiting flames coming from the highest of the construction. 

A Blackpool Tower spokesman mentioned a number of folks had been evacuated.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service mentioned six fireplace engines and a drone staff are in attendance and requested folks to ‘keep away’. 

One witness posted on Facebook saying: ‘Blackpool tower on fireplace’ whereas one other wrote: ‘Top of Blackpool Tower is on fireplace!!!’

A specialist climbing staff have arrived on the scene, Lancashire Live reported. 

There is heavy site visitors in roads close to the Tower after the encircling space was cordoned off. 

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service mentioned: ‘We have 6 fireplace engines, the drone staff and the rope rescue staff presently in attendance at a fireplace on Promenade, Blackpool.

‘There could also be vital disruption so please steer clear of the world.

‘The drone staff are in operation so please don’t fly drones within the space as it’s possible you’ll impede emergency operations.’

The tower was  the brainchild of Sir John Bickerstaffe, one of many former Mayors of Blackpool who turned impressed after visiting The Eiffel Tower in Paris. 

He had been passionate in regards to the Lancashire resort and got down to create the tower.
