Neighbour Roy Jones, 61, stated of the owl: ‘She is very large. When she’s flying over there’s a nice huge shadow on the bottom from her wings.’ 

Another resident, Rob Blackwell, 69, stated: ‘It stands over 3ft tall, as much as waist peak and it would not hoot, it type of growls.

‘I noticed it one evening once I was driving house. It was standing, watching one thing within the hedge. I would not strategy it, it is a huge bugger.’

Grandmother Kay Hennessey, 61, stated: ‘I’ve bought a bit canine known as Rosie however Hedwig, as I name it, would not appear bothered about Rosie in any respect. She’s not bothered about people, cats or canines. She’s taken a liking to Tina’s porch and now she’s right here so typically she’s like one of many neighbours.’
