Unai Emery ‘has chin stroked by reporter’ after Aston Villa collapse at Man Utd

Fans have been left questioning if Unai Emery was having his chin stroked by a reporter after Aston Villa’s dramatic defeat at Manchester United.

Emery’s aspect missed the prospect to go degree on factors with Premier League leaders Liverpool as they surrendered a 2-0 lead because of an unlikely fightback from the Red Devils. “Someone said it looks like the reporters feeling his chin and I can’t unsee it,” posted one on X (previously Twitter). Another noticed: “I’ll give you that, he’s certainly stroking the chin with an unnatural amount of reps.”

A 3rd fan stated: “Every time I see this, I’m imagining someone out of shot underneath stroking Emery’s chin for him. Soothing him after a loss.” Given the marginally awkward begin to the interview, it’s unlikely the reporter had resorted to placing his hand on his interviewee’s face.
