He continued: ‘I’ve enjoyed a most fruitful decade, ticking off many of my to-do list things and running the London marathon at the age of 74. I want to encourage older people to take their health and strength into their own hands
‘It’s never too late. Once you develop good habits, everything changes, and you can’t afford to be complacent.’
