Japan airliner inferno: Flames engulf jet airplane at Tokyo airport
- BREAKING: More to observe
A big airliner caught fireplace at this time at an airport close to Tokyo, only a day after a brutal 7.6 magnitude earthquake devastated enormous swathes of Japan‘s west coast.
Shocking footage confirmed the Japan Airlines jet engulfed in a raging inferno because it sat on the runway at Haneda Airport, in Ota City, Tokyo, with gouts of flame seen pouring out of the passenger home windows.
Details are scant, however social media posts steered the airplane erupted into flames on the runway, with one eyewitness writing on X: ‘A airplane exploded in entrance of me…’
It is unclear whether or not the airplane was taking off or touchdown at Haneda airport, or whether or not it was stationary on the time of the explosion.
