‘Mum was raised by monkeys in jungle – she copied their consuming habits and cries’

A girl whose mum was kidnapped and deserted in a rainforest and raised by monkeys has swapped her common UK life for a style of what her guardian skilled.

Marina, now 73, instructed her personal story in 2013 ebook The Girl With No Name. She claims she was snatched in 1954, when child-trafficking gangs had been commonplace in Colombia.

“I saw a hand cover my mouth – a black hand in a white hanky,” Marina beforehand mentioned. “Then I realised there were two people taking me away.” For causes which are unclear she was later dumped within the rainforest.

After round two days she says she noticed a troop of capuchins and started copying them to outlive. She would watch which nuts and berries they ate, catch bananas they dropped and drink from their watering holes.

Eventually – as she started to stroll on all fours and stopped speaking – the monkeys started to just accept her.

She says: “One day one of the younger ones landed on my shoulders and, if you’ve never been hugged and this animal puts their hands on your face, I tell you it’s the nicest touch.” She was there for round 5 years till she was discovered by hunters.
