Woman advised police ‘shoot me in head’ after killing fiancé in recreation of ‘hen’

A lady who murdered her fiancé in a recreation of “chicken” begged police to shoot her within the head after the horror killing.

The court docket later heard Wood had knocked on the door of Theresa Colborne at round 11.30pm and mentioned: “Please phone an ambulance. I think I’ve ran over my boyfriend.”

Police attending the scene of the incident recalled Wood’s response, with PC Alistair Robinson telling the court docket he “could smell alcohol” on the breath of the 23-year-old. She later requested them to “just shoot me in the head” based on Robinson.

He added: “On a couple of occasions she said words to the effect of ‘you should just shoot me in the head’ whilst she was crying. Wood will be sentenced at a later date and was taken into custody.
