Butcher flogs world’s first ever chocolate Haggis forward of Burns Night

The recipe includes a mix of darkish chocolate and white chocolate chips. Simon Howie’s chocolate haggis is a chocolate brownie pudding, that is appropriate for vegetarians, and must be served as a sizzling dessert alongside ice cream or cream.

To mark the launch of the candy deal with, Simon has introduced the chocolate haggis to life in a remake of Cadbury’s iconic 2007 “Gorilla” advert. He’s put his personal twist on one of the crucial well-known chocolate commercials to have ever graced our screens.

“Our model of the advert sees the patriotic construct of Loch Lomond meet the surreal drum experience of a life dimension haggis and we’re certain it’ll shock and delight – identical to Chocolate Haggis itself!”

The new chocolate haggis will be up for grabs for people to try in Tesco, Morrisons, Asda and Sainsbury’s stores across Scotland. It should cost £5.

Simon Howie is set to make over 1.3million haggis to be sold during January ahead of Burns Night 2024, with the Great Taste-winning Original Haggis 454g being the UK’s best-selling haggis.
