Scaffolders get revenge on ‘impolite’ motorist who refused to maneuver automotive

Scaffolders took revenge on a motorist by barricading his automotive in place, getting “petty” revenge on the person they deemed impolite.

Elliot Lockett, 23, says whereas engaged on a property in Bloxwich, Birmingham, he and his employees had been accosted by a person who they politely requested to maneuver from a parking bay they had been utilizing.

Instead of complying with the request, the person repeatedly stated “no” and advised the employees he would inform them “the law”. Elliot had requested him to maneuver the white Volkswagen as they had been unloading 21ft-long poles.

The hazard to the general public in unloading the pipes was not misplaced on Elliot, however a request to maneuver the car as the person may “see we’re doing the work” fell on deaf ears, and led to an act of “petty” revenge.

Workers caught footage of their actions, with a “barrier” erected whereas the impolite man was away from his car. It is secure to say the bloke was lower than pleased with the prank.

Laughing scaffolders eliminated the barricade after 10 minutes and although Elliot admits it was a “petty” act, he says his employees “played him at his own game”. A video of the incident has cut up members of the general public.

Elliot, from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, stated: “We agree that it’s petty but he was being petty so we played him at his own game. There was a plastic barrier already there but by the time we came outside the chap had moved it out of the way and parked up.

“We had been having to get 21ft poles out of an 8ft hole so it is not likely sensible and there is extra danger to the automotive and the general public. It’s about frequent sense as effectively. Why would you need to danger your property getting broken?

“He got quite irate and was point-blank refusing to move it and claiming he knew laws off the top of his head. I understand his frustration but there were numerous parking spaces he could have used. He took issue with us for no reason. Instead of getting angry about it we thought we’d get some revenge this way.

“He wished to try to spoil our day so me and the remainder of the lads all had a giggle at him. Working folks have gotten to do their job and pay their payments so you have to allow them to get on with it.”

Those commenting on a Facebook video supported the builders, with one writing: “What a plonker. Just transfer your bloody automotive.” Another wrote: “Fair play boys, high quality that.”
