In the book, Gypsy created a list on how to ‘master the act of friending’ – and came up with seven top tips.

  2. Be a vault: confidentiality in friendship is very important and sacred to me
  3. Lots of laughter required
  4. Have genuine care and concern for your friend’s well-being and happiness
  5. Tell the truth, even if the truth is hard and will hurt
  6. Don’t judge, ever. Always be a safe zone
  7. Prove your trust. Don’t breach theirs

Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released at the earliest date, 28 December 2023. She’s since been on various US talk shows where she’s candidly opened up about her ordeal and time in prison.

The 33-year-old got married in 2022 to Ryan Scott Anderson, a special education teacher, while in prison. She is compiling a full memoir this year.
