However, there’s little likelihood of O’Sullivan watching his error, or the match, again after he admitted he doesn’t watch the game on TV. After his win over Ding Junhui earlier within the week, The Rocket was requested if he can be watching some other matches. He replied: “No, I’ve bought a new bike. I can’t run because my feet are a bit sore – I’ve got plantar fasciitis so I just get out on my bike. Do a bit of gym.

“I don’t like watching it to be honest with you. I’m not really into it, to be honest with you. I don’t actually watch TV anymore! I watch these platforms, like Netflix, so I don’t actually watch TV. I watched a frame last night then I turned it off, I’m off!”
