Bolton sport deserted as fan handled by paramedics after medical emergency

Bolton Wanderers’ sport in opposition to Cheltenham Town on Saturday has been deserted on account of a medical emergency within the crowd.

The sport was delivered to a halt after 29 minutes as medics rushed to a fan with a defibrillator, whereas stewards ushered residence followers away, it has since been introduced that the sport is not going to proceed.

Bolton posted on their Twitter account: “Due to a medical emergency within the crowd, at present’s sport has been postponed. Our ideas are with the household involved. More data will comply with.”

Visitors Cheltenham also posted an update to fans on social media, sending their support to the fan, they tweeted: “Today’s fixture against Bolton Wanderers has been abandoned due to a medical emergency in the crowd.

“The thoughts of everyone at Cheltenham Town Football Club are with the individual involved and their loved ones at this time. An update will be announced in due course.”

The supporter has been taken to hospital in an ambulance after all four corners of the ground applauded the fan and medical staff as they were taken away following treatment in the stands.
