Blundering Tory area minister does not know planets and confuses Sun with Mars

Our new thicko area minister can’t inform the Earth from Uranus.

Andrew Griffith repeatedly didn’t establish the proper planets throughout an interview with the Science Museum’s journal.

The frontbencher on the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology obtained Mars combined up with the Sun and Saturn with Jupiter.

He was excited by a globe exhibit in London that switches look from planet to planet – and stated: “Now we have Mars.” But an worker corrected: “Er, no. That is the Sun.”

The hapless minister, who has been answerable for the area sector since November, tried once more: “Saturn,” he exclaimed when a planet with a giant purple spot appeared – however was informed: “No, no, Jupiter.”
