Man dies in an explosion at homeless hostel in Dublin

A person has died in an explosion at a homeless hostel in Dublin metropolis centre.
Gardai and Dublin Fire Brigade had been referred to as to Little Britain Street, off Capel Street, at 3.30pm immediately following experiences of a blast contained in the homeless hostel.
Gardai confirmed a person sustained ‘deadly accidents’ within the blast and there have been no experiences of some other accidents.
Other residents of the Depaul constructing had been evacuated and a cordon has been established with site visitors diversions in place.
The reason for the blast is underneath investigation, however it’s understood that Gardai didn’t suspect foul play of their preliminary evaluation of the scene.
Gardai Technical Bureau will study the scene.
