The adoptive dad and mom and grandparents of a California 11-year-old labored collectively to torture and torment her till she died, prosecutors have claimed.

Arabella McCormack was discovered by paramedics on the San Diego county residence in such an emaciated state that she weighed lower than she did aged 5.

His spouse and her dad and mom, Stanley and Adella Tom, have been arrested in October 2022, and all three have now been charged with homicide. Brian McCormack was thought of by prosecutors to be part of the abuse, and would have been charged had he not killed himself.

The adoption by Leticia and Brian McCormack was formalized in 2019, and the abuse started right away, prosecutors say.

The women have been compelled to train excessively, typically by working up and down stairs.

They have been refused permission to make use of the lavatory, and compelled to urinate and defecate on themselves.
