Hunt for ‘most boring place to take Spanish spouse’ sees Slough dubbed ‘thrilling’
Slough has been dubbed “exciting” after a social media consumer requested Brits for the “most boring places in the UK.”
Reddit consumer butterscotch-crayon requested for suggestions for the dullest place within the nation for them to take their Spanish spouse. They titled the submit: “What are the most boring places here in the UK I can take my Spanish wife?” Kicking off the thread, they stated: “We’ve been to many other places that are interesting but I want to take her to some of the most boring places you can think off. Places that have nothing to see or do. Also some good take away places wouldn’t go amiss either.”
The uncommon request was posted to the discussion board r/AskUK, with customers fast to supply up their dullest spots throughout the nation, noting that distance was “not an issue”. It’s also an absolute pig to get to with the M1 and A5 being so far away and there’s hardly anywhere to park.”

“Playing ‘hunt a shop’ on the High Street, see if you can find a shop that isn’t boarded up, extra points for not being harassed by some piss head for a pound at 9am. Will or won’t your car be broken into when you get back? Who knows? That’s the thrill of Slough!”
