Politics newest information: Lord Frost warns of ‘constant and extended decline in Tory vote’

Lord Frost has warned the Conservative Party seems to be struggling a “consistent and prolonged decline in the Tory vote”. 

The former Brexit minister informed Rishi Sunak it was “risky” to stay to his plan for the nation “if it is just taking us [the Conservatives] further downhill”. 

The Tory peer made the feedback in response to a brand new ballot printed by Redfield & Wilton Strategies which gave Labour a 23 level lead over the Tories. The survey, carried out on January 21, put Labour on 45 per cent of the vote and the Tories on 22 per cent. 

Labour had been up by one level and the Tories had been down by three factors when in comparison with the corporate’s earlier ballot carried out on January 14. 

Mr Sunak has repeatedly urged voters to stay along with his plan, warning the choice could be to return to “square one” with a Labour authorities. 

Lord Frost tweeted: “All the polls this last week are painting the same picture – a consistent & prolonged decline in the Tory vote to historically low levels. It’s risky to stick to the plan if it is just taking us further downhill.”
