Preston footballer admits ‘kicking lady in face’ and pleads responsible over assault
Preston North End footballer Finlay Cross-Adair has admitted to attacking a lady in a resort.
The 19-year-old pleaded responsible to inflicting precise bodily hurt at Preston Crown Court. Cross-Adair kicked a lady to her face and induced a minimize on her lip whereas the pair have been on vacation in Spain with the footballer’s household on May 26, 2023.
He initially denied the assault and was granted bail. But he modified his plea on Wednesday (January 24) and was handed an 18-month neighborhood order.

Judge Ian Unsworth KC additionally ordered {the teenager} to finish a Building Better Relationships programme, 150 hours of unpaid work and 15 days of rehabilitation exercise.
A Preston North End consultant stated: “We note and fully respect the court’s decision and we will be making no further comment until we have had time to communicate with our employee.”
Cross-Adair has been present process rehab since being injured in a crash on the A6 in Lancaster in October 2023. He was travelling in a Seat Ibiza when his car collided head-on with a Mercedes Sprinter van, leaving him in a critical situation in hospital.

Cross-Adair is a boyhood Preston North End supporter and commenced coaching with the primary workforce in September 2022. Having impressed the membership together with his performances within the youth workforce, clinching a league and cup double in 2021/22, he signed his first skilled contract in December 2022.
