Politics newest information: Tories ‘serve no purpose’, says Farage after Reform data highest ever assist
The Conservative Party now not serves a goal, Nigel Farage claimed after Reform UK climbed to its highest ever stage of assist.
A brand new YouGov ballot, carried out between Jan 23-24, put Reform on 13 per cent of the vote, up by one level when in comparison with the corporate’s earlier ballot carried out between Jan 16-17.
The ballot put Reform simply seven factors behind the Tories who have been unchanged in second place general on 20 per cent whereas Labour was unchanged in first on 47 per cent. YouGov stated it was “our highest figure for Reform UK to date”.
Mr Farage, the honorary president of Reform, informed The Telegraph’s politics publication (you’ll be able to enroll right here): “I think there is an increasing feeling among Conservative voters now that they want their party to be replaced.
“This is not like Ukip, which was a way of saying to both Labour and the Tories ‘we hate your policies’.
“This is much more fundamental, much deeper, much more real. It’s a feeling that the Conservative Party doesn’t really exist anymore, that it serves no purpose.”
