ITV viewers livid as West Brom vs Wolves crowd bother minimize from principal broadcast

Fans had been left fuming with ITV after the broadcaster’s dwell footage minimize away from a brawl within the stands on the Hawthorns.

Commentator Sam Matterface mentioned on the time: “We’re restricting what we are showing you as some of those scenes are undesirable. Derby day passion and intensity is great, but this sort of overspill is not acceptable in any sense. It’s getting really nasty.”

But followers on social media took subject with Matterface’s feedback. And they took goal on the broadcaster for not exhibiting any of the wild scenes off the pitch which led to a 35 minute delay earlier than play bought again underway.

A 3rd commented: “Why do cameras cut when there’s a fight or pitch invader? Just show it. No one is offended and we all want to see it,” and a fourth added: “ITV ruining the experience for us watching on TV. We don’t need restrictions. Show us the battles.”

A fifth identified: “Football fans who fight should be shown on tv to show their family and bosses how stupid they are,” whereas one other consumer complained: “Wish they’d show it ffs.”

Others on social media fumed: “Shows us the fights! @itvfootball,” and “Commentators happening prefer it’s world conflict 3.”
