Monkey escape hunt sees new improvement as macaque ‘on a bender’ noticed

An escaped monkey has been noticed again within the wild and “on a bender” by a drone scouring the Scottish Highlands.

The lacking macaque has been tracked by specialists for days now because the animal fled the Highland Wildlife Park close to Inverness, Scotland on Sunday. A monkey hunt is underway as locals are warned to remain away ought to they see the escaped animal.

Ms Salzberg mentioned: “It’s almost like it’s been on a bender for a few days, like a rager. We’re desperate for it to be found and both of us want the monkey to be safe. The monkey’s had an adventure for sure and it’s probably time to cut the adventure short.”

Despite the monkey nonetheless being at giant, Ms Salzberg added it was a “super cute” creature. She added: It was completely wild, we have been each elbowing one another making an attempt to get the opposite one out of the best way so we may get one of the best video and digicam angles. It was unbelievable, I’m certain as soon as in a lifetime.

“It was running back and forth and kept looking over its shoulder at us. He was super cute, I have to say.” Fellow animal spotter Mr Nagle mentioned the expertise was “surreal”.

Speaking to PA News, he mentioned: “It’s just the most surreal thing, I’ve seen snow monkeys in the wild but you don’t expect to see them in your back garden in the Highlands.”
