A rowdy aircraft passenger was held again by 4 fellow Brits after he allegedly bought drunk and began abusing cabin crew on board a flight.

The chaos kicked off throughout a JetBlue flight from Gatwick Airport in London to New York’s JFK earlier this week when a rowdy bloke began hassling cabin crew. One passenger exclaimed: “Jesus Christ” while another blurted out: “What the f***.”

The flight left Gatwick at 11:55 am and touched down on time at 3:15 pm on Tuesday (January 30). Another Brit, Grant Saunders, was also on the flight. He said: “The males from the again of the aircraft got here down to help. They finally tackled him to the ground.

“I felt sorry for elderly couples who were sitting around where it was happening. The lads got a round of applause as they left.

“The man was drunk and was getting loud and aggressive, moving seats. Then when the crew asked him to calm down, he started getting worse. Then he started wandering about the aisle, the crew asked him to sit in his seat and he then started getting aggressive.”

Another traveller, named Nick, stated: “They managed to restrain him and prevent the flight from being diverted and causing major disruption to the passengers and crew. Due to their brave and brilliant efforts, the flight landed without further incident. They need to be recognised by the airline.”

JetBlue has been approached for remark.
