A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: ‘A 37-year-old girl has been arrested and charged in reference to the demise of Ann Coll in Rutherglen.

‘Ann, 61, was discovered at a flat on Newfield Place round 12.45am on Friday, 22 December, 2023.

‘The 37-year-old is because of seem at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 5 February, 2024.

‘A report might be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.’

Ms Coll was believed to have left her house at round 5pm on Thursday December 21, the day earlier than her physique was discovered, to stroll her canine.
