The documentary, Nicklas Bendtner – The Portait, might be launched as a sequence in three episodes on Viaplay later this month.
The 36-year-old says he needs to inform the “true story” of his life, warts and all. He stated: “Many sports activities documentaries are only a massive shiny image. Then you hear about adultery on the aspect or an additional baby, or I do not know what the hell, and it by no means comes up.
“But then you never get the opportunity to really understand that person. Then it might as well be fiction. I want to tell the true story. It must be as it was.”
