Man, 47, is charged for homicide after girl in her 60s was discovered lifeless

A person has been charged with homicide after a lady was discovered lifeless inside a home
Essex Police discovered the girl, who was in her 60s,severely injured inside a property in Chelmsford on Friday February 9.
Tragically, she was later pronounced lifeless on the scene by paramedics.
Police have been referred to as to the property, in Readers Court, at round 2.30pm following stories of a suspicious man, who the police later engaged with on the home.
Sebastian Compton, 47 from Readers Court, Chelmsford was arrested on Friday 9 February and has now been charged with the girl’s homicide. He has been remanded in custody to look at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Monday 12 February.

Detective Chief Superintendent Rob Kirby, who’s main the investigation, mentioned: ‘I’d prefer to reassure these dwelling within the Great Baddow space that there isn’t any wider risk to the group.’
‘Although we’ve got secured a cost, our investigation continues.
‘I’d proceed to ask anybody who has data or footage of any a part of the incident, notably within the areas of Readers Court and Dorset Avenue, to get in touch.’
