A spokesman for Hampshire Roads Policing Unit stated on Saturday: ‘Earlier at this time we had a car which did not cease for us in Southampton.

‘We have been grateful for the help from NPAS who attended from Bournemouth to assist with the seek for the car.

‘However, this clearly was not appreciated by everybody because the plane was focused from an handle within the Portswood space by a laser machine, which was shortly recognized by NPAS.
