TV Choice Awards: Happy Valley has double triumph for closing collection

Happy Valley had a double win on the TV Choice Awards on Monday after its closing collection aired final 12 months.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and I’m A Celeb South Africa win within the Best Reality Show class, each Gogglebox and Celebrity Gogglebox gained the Best Entertainment Show prize.

The Martin Lewis Money Show Live which airs on ITV1 gained the Best Lifestyle Show prize, BBC One’s Animal Park was named the winner of the Best Daytime Show gong, James Martin’s Saturday Morning which is broadcast on ITV gained within the Best Food Show class, and Channel 5’s Winter on the Farm and Springtime on the Farm gained the Best Factual Show award.

The Great British Bake Off, Bake Off The Professionals, Junior Bake Off and The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice gained the Best Talent Show award, whereas ITV1’s The Chase gained Best Game Show and Netflix was named Favourite Channel/Streaming Site.

While it did not win, The Traitors was nominated within the class of Best Reality Show alongside I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, Queer Eye and At Home With The Furys.

Series two Paul Gorton mentioned recreating the success of collection two shall be a ‘large outdated process’ as he attended the awards. He turned well-known for hood-winking The Faithfuls earlier than being voted out
