Walkers launches two new crisp flavours – and followers are dashing to purchase them

Walkers has launched two new flavours of crisps – and so they sound unbelievable.

The crisp large launched the Crushed Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn in addition to Mature Cheddar and Chilli Chutney. In latest months, Walkers has axed some favourites.

Recently it eliminated Marmite crisps and Salt and Vinegar Quavers from its line-up. Now the 2 new flavours are already successful with followers.

Wayne Newton, senior advertising director of Walkers, instructed The Mail: “We know consumers continue to look for premium products to treat themselves with, despite the current economic challenges.”

He added: “With the launch of these new products, we wanted to tap into those classic favourite flavours of cheese and salt and add in a bit of a modern twist through the addition of chilli chutney and black peppercorn to offer something a little different.”

Foodie followers noticed the crisps on sale, priced at £1 per 40g bag, and £2.50 for a bigger 150g bag. One shopper shared the thrilling new additions on the favored Facebook Ultimate Food and Snack Finds UK.

And individuals flocked to share their pleasure on the new flavours. One mentioned: “Love sea salt or cracked pepper just to get the taste buds going.”

Another added: “The Cheddar and Chilli Chutney are banging.” Someone else mentioned: “Love the Cheddar Cheese one love them eat a whole pack if not careful.”

Walkers followers obtained unhappy information once more when the corporate mentioned bye-bye to a different liked flavour. It’s the seventh time in just a few months that Walkers has stopped making a flavour.

And this time it is Marmite crisps which will not be on the store cabinets anymore.

We’ve already mentioned goodbye to Cheese Mixups, Lamb and Mint, Max Flamin Hot, Peking Spare Rib, Salt and Vinegar Quavers, and Salt and Sizzling Steak Wotsits.
