Wellingborough and Kingswood by-elections stay: Richard Tice guidelines out Reform-Tory election deal

Richard Tice stated the Tories “deserve to be punished” on the subsequent basic election as he categorically dominated out putting an electoral pact with Rishi Sunak.

The chief of Reform UK instructed Times Radio: “You can’t reward failure with more incumbency. And the Tories, frankly, given what they’ve done to the country in breaking the country, they deserve to be punished. I think they will be punished and quite right too.”

Asked in regards to the probabilities of doing a cope with Mr Sunak, Mr Tice stated: “My message is he can save himself a phone call. We did that back in 2019. The Tories promised that they would get things done, do the job properly and they’ve let us down.

“They’ve betrayed us on multiple factors, including rising taxes, wasteful government spending. They promised to take control of the borders and they’ve done exactly opposite. So no, he can save himself a phone call. We’re not doing any form of deals.”

Reform completed third in each the Kingswood and Wellingborough by-elections as Labour snatched the seats away from the Tories.

Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg stated the right-wing of British politics should “reunite” to be able to cease Sir Keir Starmer coming into 10 Downing Street “by the back door”.

Mr Sunak stated: “A vote for anyone who isn’t the Conservative candidate, whether that’s Reform or anyone else, is just a vote to put Keir Starmer in power.”
